I am agnostic, wheres your proof of God, its all just in a book. I could write a bible, hide it, and many years later someone could find it and I could be their GOD.

Theres people out in the world that are supposed to be born, for they are part of the universe, if you kill a baby, you throw it off. That person may have suppose to be born to cure HIV!

George Bush is a fucking idiot, and our economy sucks just because he has to finish what his FATHER started. I think that Hillary should be the next president, I want to see a Female President dammit! and for people who think that shes gonna be a president fuck up, WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOSE????

So you think Hitlery is any different than Bush? Please. These people are all the same. The only thing that differs is their rhetoric because they want to be elected. Hillary is every bit the chickenhawk the neocons are, and why wouldn't she be as a member of the CFR? Hillary is a total crony and a total insider, and she is totally fake. She couldn't care less about you.

Oh, and what does the bible have to do with God? There is a difference between God (whoever or whatever that might be) and Jesus Christ of the bible. I personally believe there is something much higher than this material world, but the answers can't be found in any religion or church. There is a difference between religion and spirituality, so why do some people always associate the belief in something higher with the bible or an organized religion? Religion is an artificial creation. Spirituality is not.

I think a alot of people who are atheistic and agnostic are just as brainwashed as the followers of organized religion.

i don't really give a flock what anyone thinks can or can't be 'proven'. what i do care about is the kind of world, you, me and all the rest of us, have to live in, as long as we wish to remain alive and this earth remains the only one available to us.

every once in a while rat says something i have to agree with. this is one of those times.

i don't see hillary not being any better then the rest of them making her any measurably worse either. none of them make it this close to the final cut without having been bought and paid for by the corporatocracy. even a cosmetic chainge, especially when it's one america has yet to see, would not in and of itself be a worsening. that emotional attatchment to the familiar and demonizing of everything else, is one of the roots of the problem.

looks like it's between hillary and obama, and whatever the repubies dredge up. unless of course the corporatocracy pulls a hitler and makes bush president for life. which, just might, if they took the chance and tried it, actually provoke a bloody violent physical revolutionary coup de'tat.

we've seen so many things that could never happen in america do so in this decade that i wouldn't be THAT surprised, even though it's certainly not anything i'm expecting as most probable.

i do hope, and believe there is real hope, that we might get someone who won't stay bought once they get in. we did once. his name was carter. and before that there was jfk who was able to buy himself.

we've never had a saint in that office and i'm not expecting to see one there either. and i would rather see a causmetic chainge then no chainge at all.

as for losing more of our freedoms, i don't see anyone in the running that's likely to prevent that, but i certainly don't see anyone calling themselves conservative as any more likely to then anyone who is trying to distance themselves from that particular pretention.

it would be wonderful (by comparison) if we could have a dennis kusenich or a john edwards. and we could if they could somehow at the same time both convince the corporatocracy that they would kiss its ass while convincing the rest of us they would not.

even hillary or obama might not stay bought once they get in. hillary i seems at this point more likely to consult her stock portfolio and obama his dart or ouji boards.

the problem isn't the face in the oval office, but the puppet strings held by the roves, chenies and rumsfields behind the sciene.

what we need to understand is that symbolic value is just that, and when we turn everything into crap by trying to make everything have to begin and end with it, what is there left for it to be a symbol of?

if we want real chainge, it is really up to us to dicipline ourselves to stop creating markets for bussiness as usual. otherwise, even tearring things up is still just whining.

expecting who gets elected (who EVER does) to do it for us, is whistling in the dark.

    Interesting

I, for one, have no faith for politicians at all. Even if one means well, how much power do they have once on office? No one person can really effect that much change, and it seems few want to anymore.

I used to be a prolife activist, but I decided instead to change my approach. Instead of arguing with people, I am going to fix my life qand adopt a kid. I think in the long run, this will do more to help than all the yelling about the sacredness of life could ever do.

As for God, I've decided to believe. I grew up Catholic and use this a base for my own set of beliefs. I've also taken ideas from other places for instance the four years I've spent studying Wicca. My beliefs now are unique to myself and I hold them not out of proof but because they feel right to my heart. I hope you find the same.

OH MY GOODNESS, this is so typically ATHEIST, YOU CANT PROVE God, thats the whole point of faith. If you want proof of God then you obviously dont have faith. Believe whatever you want but such sentances like "I am against all religions" is the obvious words of a narrowminded religaphobe.

    Proof of God?
And, It's all just in a book?
    :(
The Truth is, Ghost, that God is not something that you simply
choose to believe in, and then automatically you feel God.
This, is the reason why for some people who have intelligence
and a mind of their own, that isnt controlled by fear, do not
    discover God.
Becuase they think "What is my purpose? Why am I alive? What
is life, itself?" and they do not feel God immediatley, so
they tell themselves "God is not real, and the people who believe
on God are blind sheep who follow dogmatic books."
But, this is laziness, completley and definitley.
To realize God, you must first realize the soul that is within you,
and to realize the soul is a VERY difficult process which involves
what could be metaphorically likened to a war, a battle going
on inside yourself during meditation (If you do it properly).
The battle is between the weakness of your "I"ness being
pulled between the ego (which is extremley powerful and
    overwhelming) and the Soul.
When you actually attempt to do this meditation, you will see
just how smart, intuitive, and strong willed yogi's actually are.
Because it is NOT easy to battle the desires of the senses,
    both emotionally and physically.
But, until you even try to begin to BEGIN to understand that
your own perception of understanding is an illusion, and attempt
to go to war with your own self to make your Self that much more
of a stronger, purer, and more honest person, you will remain
in the dark, blinded by your attachments to desires, and deluded
by your false perception that the Ego and the physical universe
you perceive is all that there is.

Ever hear the song "It's All Too Much" ? Trust me, the True
God-realized Souls are much much stronger than you and I. -

I wish someone would take what HST started and push forward the Freak Power Ticket. If we started in small towns across the land it could eventually make its way into bigger and powerful positions. FREAK POWER UNITE!

Why take it so seriously I mean everything that is going on right now is against the teaching of any of the 3 major religions and pretty much is a bunch of loons who had bad business dealings with our government and said they would kill us for thier god and it made everything they do ok to thier people, just saying I've got my own wrench.
