time travellor?

i read an article once about a man who was arrested in the states a few years back for dodgy dealing in the city. He was investigated simply because of the money he made.


His defence was that actually he was a time traveller and that he wasnt inside dealing he knew what investments to make. yada yada.

now i've tried finding more out about this man, ect and i know authorities were involved and they couldnt discount what he was saying because apart from obvioulsy being american they had no idea who he was.

anyone know anything about this?

man that's crazy stuff. the idea that there are time travelers doesn't sound all that stupid to me, i mean how can we prove that there aren't? it's possible that the person who you see at the bus stop everyday is from the future?

I can. Humans are stupid. If time travel is at all possible, then its already happened in some paralel universe. Someone sometime would go to the past and show them how its done. They could be multi-billionairs for figuring out how to time travel. So people would steal the idea, travel back in time and sell it.

Basically we're looking at three things. Either its not possible and never will, or its the best kept secret ever, because nobody has ever fucked up and the word has never gotten out. or its just one man who figured it out, and never shared his findings with the world.

my boyfriend says that if we can travel through time, that means God doesn't exist. that always kind of scared me.

 

LOL @ Snopes - That site discredits just about everything they can. Have they put up a new log about why the new wiretap laws are a good thing ?
