I never see it mentioned, never hear it discussed, however I find that many people men and women will just spit on the ground in public. No target intended they just feel free to spit whenever and wherever. Well, it's disgusting, please stop it! I told my kids that unless they have some sort of emergency, ie. spit or vomit, then go to the bathroom spit in the toilet and flush it. I have nearly lost my lunch several times because of the guy in pick up in front of me decides to open his truck door and spit at the red light. Some even seem to have a habit, like getting out of truck cannot be accomplished without the follow up spit. It is so gross.
spit in and of itself is not that bad. it's when people make the gross noises, and spit up a huge glob of green stuff that sorta grosses me out.
i spit all the time. i have rules for spitting to. like for one, i have to spit when i walk out my front door.
Is there a pet peeves forum? I bet there are a lot of entries. I didn't mean to get all judgemental I just find that spitting all the time to be a peculiar as well as gross habit. I don't have to spit all the time why would someone else? Are spitters proud? What's it about really?
I work with a bunch of inconsiderate douchebags that feel that every wastebasket is their personal spitune. Of course I dropped a screwdriver or wrench or some shit in the wastebasket by accident one day, reached in and got a nice glob of somebody else's snot/saliva/whatever all over my forearm. Near puke was I.
I never spit, but i do sometimes get a gag reflex after smoking pot or doing cocaine that causes me to throw up with little warning.
I knew a guy back not too long ago that would spit after every three words its weird..... very annoying.
i'm proud. i don't know, but i usually have a lot of saliva that i need to get rid of. and spitting does a good job. its habit forming, i guess. i also spit sunflower shells and watermellon seeds and stuff like that too.
