    i don't remember the year, but i know it was before the turn of the centure, as well as the big crash, whatever year that was, the big crash of hip's former server that is. at any rate i know it was before 2000 because i remember all the paranoia about the world comming to an end because opperating systems had been keeping track of only the last two digits of the year.

    and there was a reall cool link farm called zenbizaar or something like that, which was where i found this place from.

    and people were actually able to talk about interesting and diverse things on here, without being constantly put down for doing so.

    2004 and things were better before the crash there was a sense of deep community and less one-upmanship. ahh I'm getting all wistful.
