Do any Christian's here believe in the some what 'medieval' vision of hell, if not what type of hell do you believe in and what doctrine does it originate from or do you simply 'blindly' 'graft' your beliefe on after life????
There was no need for the unessicery graphic image, now whos the one sputting their fingers in thiers ears and going "lalalalalala I dont care or respect other peoples beliefes" Dont bother replying!!
yes I do I believe there is a big red guy with horns and has a long tail and a pitch fork. And also has a gay relationship with saddam hussain
What do you mean what doctrine does it originate from? The doctrine in which christians get their belief in the afterlife from is christianity and the bible. Although the concept stretches back into pagan belief systems well before christianity.
I don't believe that hell is a place people go to when they die. I think of hell as a metaphor for a condition in which all of the evil tendencies of humans are given free reign without ethical inhibitions. In that sense, hell is eternal and very real. Sartre was right: "Hell is other people".
Your answer is just what I needed to hear. And for those other people "OOOO BURNNN" I dont actually believe in hell myself sooo OOO BURNNN to your cocky imature perogatives.
