Ok, I am trying to settle an argument with some friends. For those of you who have done BOTH, please tell me, how would you compare the two? Thanks in advance for your responses
I've used adderall for years, but have never touched meth, so I'm also curious. Of course most meth users are taking higher doses. Oddly Desoxyn is pretty much only Rx'd for obesity. The analogous neurotransmittters are norepinephrine and epinephrine (analogous in the sense of the added methyl group, not so much the effects).
The first time I ever did adderall it felt just like meth... I've done meth twice... and they seemed the same. but adderally don't feel like meth no more. Only the first time. I'd choose adderall tho.
yeh it really depends how you take it and how much, because once youre really high, the effect is more or less the same. differences that you may attribute to the drugs can simply be differences in set&setting that you took the drugs. though, you cannot solve a dispute of oppinion by introducing more oppinions. if the dispute was objective such as what is the actual difference between the two, then we may be able to help. but if the dispute is like 'which is preferable', then its pointless to simply ask heaps of ppl because it wont make a difference to the individual who holds an oppinion either way.
theres a big differnce. meth will make you waayyy more confident and outgoing, make you feel wayy better. and it will be waayy more euphoric, lots of rushing like, umm, it feels like its harder. i dont know. it feels like umm, bah
a guy told me once that adderal won't effect adhd kids very much but meth would. so mental problems like that will play a huge part as well....
I really just want to know if the effects are objectively similar. One of my friends, who of course wants to justify his Adderall habit, says there is a big difference between them, and I say no, they are basically the same, with perhaps meth giving slightly more euphoria (this is just an educated guess on my part, never done meth).
Well one could try x amount of amphetamine, wait 3 days and try x amount of pure meth and then ascertain the difference. Recommended use is oral and you would have to know the purity, salt form, and weight of the drug. Don't do anything stupid and OD.
Also, you have a pharmaceutical grade chemical vs. some street drug of questionable purity, so adderall is a little safer in that aspect. But I've tried both in their pharmaceutical form (i.e. Adderall & Desoxyn), and the only real difference in effects that I could tell was that desoxyn was more euphoric; other than that I thought they both felt very similiar.
Not true at all. I have ADHD and can get spun as hell from Adderall. The reason Adderall is prescribed for ADHD is because low doses of amphetamines give you better concentration. It will work in anyone. Higher doses (like you would take with meth) are, for the most part, going to completely ruin that aspect of the drug and have you bouncing off the walls, however.
