I was more than mildly annoyed when Pink was running around making misinformed comments about animal rights with the encouragement of PETA in a previously unsuccessful attempt increase the number of Australian Sheep slowly killed by maggots by preventing a process known as Mulesing [1], but now she is REALLY getting on my nerves. Her new song "Dear Mr. President" is just another attempt at some air-headed pop ditz trying to pretend she has knowledge of the worlds current political and environmental state. Don't get me wrong, I dislike George Bush and the way he runs America just as much as the next person but her baseless lyrics actually make me empathise with the bungling George Bush. Find me a person who works at McDonalds who's daily tasks are more difficult than running one of the worlds most powerful countries in the middle of a war and I will appologise to Pink. But for now I'll avoid the radio as much as possible and pray that the pop-tarts of this world don't get suckered in to her ignorant influence.
