Upset by the following posting

Hi, I am very upset by a posting on Myspace.com/jpblpnemt where he is obviously a homophobic. I am straight but my sister is a lesbian and I am highly offended by this persons thinking and ignorance. He preaches about the bible but obviously has hate in his heart. I know this man and he had always joked with my sister that "she likes the same thing he does" and she just hasn't been with a "real man". Well this "man" is well over 325 pounds, and looks like uncle fester on a good day!! He needs a dose of reality and to be told what he is writing is hatred!!

Greeting Fellow Americans.

Why is it that homosexuality is so accepted in this country. It almost seems popular to be gay. In reality it is not. We need to view homosexuality for what it is. A mental disorder. There, I said it. Now the gay folks will be jumping up and down, putting me on their "gaydar" saying that I am a "homophobe" I am not. I want all the gay people to get the treatment that they need.

I took a class on Abnormal Psychology in college. This was a typical New York community college, but the proffessor was not politically driven. He stated that homosexuality was listed as a mental disorder up until the 1960's, when the gay power people forced it to be removed from the textbook for psychological disorders.

Gay people are people with a problem that needs to be corrected, not tolerated. If I had a broken arm, would I sit around and tell everyone to tolerate it? No, I would get an X-ray, and a cast, and drink more milk until the bone healed. Gay people want the rest of us to tolerate them, instead of researching ways of treatment.

I believe that we need to band together and stop the gay agenda of tolerance, and acceptance of abnormality. We need research to find ways to correct the condition, rather that form political parties to tolerate it.

I am reading the Bible now, and I have found numerous verses that call homosexuality an "abomination" that God will not tolerate. I do belive that God loves all of us, but not our sins. Homosexuality is a sin.

How can somebody be so idiotic and close-minded? Where I live this is unfortunately a common thing.

He doesn't think he's a homophobe, wow. He is the definition of homophobe! Guys like him make me very worried about the world today. A "mental disorder". Yeah whatever.

 

This is why the christians are so obsessed with homosexuality. to be a pastor all you need to do is to preach. Evangelical leaders have never studied theology.

There is one passage that says, A man should not lie with another man, as a man lies with a woman", its by leveticus if Im not misstaken, cant remember the passage.

Other than that there is Sodom and Gomorah, where they wanted to sodomize them for domination. In the old days you raped another man to dominate him, people where more animalic back then. Much like male dogs dominate other male dogs sexualy.
This is why they sodomized prisoners in Abu Grabhi.

Thats what any theologian will say.

Then we have 20th century know it alls that thinks theit interpetation is the correct one.

Jesus didnt mentione anything homophopic in the new testament. But he said that checking a member of the other sex out is adultery if youre not married.

There are several passages condemning pre marigial sex, in the OT and NT.
But only one homophobic in the OT.

Just wanted to share my 2 cents.

 

His mind is probably as small as his weenie....teenie weenie. I view people like that the same as other noxious insects, usually insignificant to my life unless there is an infestation...then they need to be eradicated. I used to use the bible a lot too, back when we had an outhouse.

It's a damn shame really, but as long as there are "holy books" there will be hate from those folks too stupid to get the real message.

I did not intend to stereotype all conservative Christians there, just those idiots who think they are God's ultimate gift to humanity. Which means absolutely nothing to an atheist like me. XD

I can't stand living in a world with somebody like him, he should open his mind.

i can't stand how people can think like that. for all anyone knows, people are suppossed to be bisexual, and that heterosexuality is just an extremely widespread mental disorder.

 

Homosexuality is a mental disorder just as much as left-handedness. Being left handed doesn't cause harm to ourselves or anyone else and the same goes for homosexuality. A broken arm would be painful. On the flip side, I am quite happy being gay and it causes me know harm so why try and fix it?

I must be the lone dissenter here: I do believe God loves all of us, but hates the sin. Have any of us ever come to grips as to why we're attracted to the same sex? Many are comfortable in the gay lifestyle, but there are those of us - like me, honestly speaking - who have been emotionally ravaged through life because of the tidal wave of "anti-" stuff that's continually being pumped out to us. This is going to sound odd, but I am not a closet homophobe. I am married, but trust me when I say it's very difficult to be in a compromising position, homosexually speaking, and not give in. I have friends, gay and straight, so I don't feel lacking in that aspect of life. Do these sound like the ruminations of a troubled man? I would probably agree to that.

 

Odd... suddenly I felt like super-gluing that guy's mouth shut. Funny that...

What the hell does it matter that anyone's gay? Can't we all just get along? Spread some love? Live in peace--oh no, I don't think a "true American" would have that.
