Thanks! Any idea how to make a water bottle bong outta a smaller water bottle?

 

nvm, i thinking of making a gravity bong. i dont have a metal pipe. what can i use for it ? a bic ?

 

shit yea.....things you'll need:

1 water bottle
1 ink pen
some tinfoil

clean out the guts from the pen so your left with a hollow tube. make a hole about halfway up the water bottle, big enough so your pen can fit into it. make a bowl out of the tinfoil and put it on top of the pen, the part sticking out of the water bottle. make another hole towards the top of the water bottle, this will be a carb hole. add water and your set to go.......actually let me make one and ill post step by step pics....give me about 10 min

okay one pic shows the pen, tinfoil, and bottle (i only had a 2 litre layin around). next pic shows the pen gutted-out. Pic after that shows it all put together (i used scotch tape to keep the pen in place and a steak knife to make the holes in the bottle) The last pic shows it bubblin.........hope this helped. Took me about 5 min to make.

 

got any close ups of the tin foil?

 

sorry just threw it away lol......but its easy just form a small bowl with your fingers, leaving some overhanging then use the overhanging tin foil to wrap around the top of the pen.........it's reallly easy you should be able to figure it out

 

oh yea and once the tinfoil is on top of the pen use a toothpick to poke holes in the tinfoil

well, there are all sorts of ways to make homemade pipes, but i'd stay as far away from anything other than metal or vegetables/fruit to smoke out of. i wouldnt use a pen tube for a downstem in a waterbottle pipe, thats for sure. you'd hve to be super careful the foil isnt hot enough to melt the plastic, and that would mean the bowl couldnt be in direct contact with the tube.

what i used to use was tv antenna tubing. the stuff is hollow, and works miracles. if theres an old set of rabitears or an old broken radio or old broken tv with an attached antenna, break it off and use segments for making a stem. for a bowl i always used to just make one-hitters out of pens. this is the only use i have for the pens...if you get the right kind of disposable plastic ballpoint, then it comes with a screw-off metal bit at the end, holding the ink tube and the nib in the pen. screw it off, and discard the rest. put the small end in the opening of the antenna. it will fall right out if you arent careful, but will smoke just fine if you are.

one of my first and most loved waterpipes was a homemade bubbler. i had a BIG clean, empty malt ovaltine jar which i removed the label from. i put two holes in the lid. id fill the jar halfway with water and ice cubes, and insert one antenna tube far down enough to go into the water. another tube i bent in a few places so it curved out, and inserted it in the other hole in the lid, not touching the water. both tubes were fastened in place, i believe by duct tape. there was a few inches between where the pen-bowl set and the tape, so no worries. i'd have several bowls for the thing all packed up, as the tiny bowl is expended in one to three hits (at most) and gets incredibly hot. so i'd smoke it, pack up a seperate bowl, knock the first out with a pencil or something so as not to burn my fingers, insert the second, smoke, and repeat until i was blazed...used to do this every day after school. it was huge, worked like a charm, got me blazed off my ass, had no plastic, tasted as fine as any other homemade bong, and conserved my weed REALLY well. plus it was fun thinking up how to build it.

 

The way i made it so its away from the tube so it doesnt burn it.

 

in a pinch i think a waterfall bong is the easiest thing to make.

total ingredients= plastic bottle of your choice-bigger the better,knife,tape
(optional), and lastly a bowl made out of any number of materials (foil if you can find nothing else)

steps
1.cut hole in bottom of bottle,bout the size of a dime
2.cut a hole in the cap,big enough for w/e bowl you have to fit in,tape it to seal
3. pack bowl
4. fill up water bottle,holding finger over the bottom hole
5. light bowl, and release finger from bottom hole, thus letting water flow
6. wait till water is gone,unscrew cap and enjoy!

 

People get so creative when it comes to smoking. I always see my friends doing some crazy artifact. I wonder what they could do if they applied that same kind of thinking to other things...

 

If all else fails then just make a ghetto bong. You take a plastic bottle, (i.e.-a Coke bottle, water bottle, etc) then you burn a hole for the smoke to come out of and into your mouth, take tin foil and poke holes into it (tiny holes, by the way) and tada...you've got yourself a good smoking tool. :]
