I think one of my friends is just trying to scare me out of acid but i dont know. She stated the after taking acid a couple of times, then later on in life if you crack you back you will have flash backs, because it's stored in your spine? I honestly have no idea if its true or not. I've done acid many times but i just don't know if that would really happen? or just one more false statements about acid?
Yeah don't worry about it, that's a myth, there's no research or evidence to suggest that it remains in your spine. LSD leaves your body quite quickly. Though, people do have flashbacks. It's not caused by remains in your spine though, most likely it just has to do with an incredibly emotional moment in a trip that comes back to you whenever you're reminded of it (everyone has flashbacks if you think about it: war experiences, difficult times in their life etc.) I believe about 70% of people who use/d LSD don't report experiencing any flashbacks.

Yeah that’s such an utter loads of rubbish! I've been laughing about this because me and a friend were exchanging stories people tell about Acid. The funniest one (which is gruesome but just SO untrue) was when some girl in school tried to get him to stop doing drugs and her story was: Some guy did acid in the 60s then one day he was driving his kids home from school and started to trip. So he dragged all his kids out the car and killed them. Right. Most people who enjoy tripping would love to have a freebie flashback but don't. I've had one and a shudder in my life. You have to remember that any bad trip is not teh drug. Its you. its from your head. So if you're messed up, emotionally or mentally unwell, have a predisposition to eitehr of those things, have insecurity issues, phobias, instabilities, anythign really which can make life difficult, then LSD can make you experience thseo in a very harsh manner. YOu can hear people talkign about you, nature victimising you, feel as though you are worthless, but its ALL in your head teh LSD didn't put it there, you did. And if you dont believe in the control you have over yur own mind, you're more likely to be prone to it. end rant.
LSD does not collect in your spine, flashbacks come whenever they want to, was lovin my boyfriend yesturday morning when his skin turned black with all sorts of neon green geometric shapes in it, crazyness... Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder sucks, and theres nothing that says you cant get it, one bad trip can be all you need, if you dwell on it it can get worse, if you put it out of your mind and roll with it you'll be fine. only chemical drugs stay in your spine? holy shit I must have so much shit in my spine!!! what the hell does chemical drug mean, all drugs contain these chems that mess you up in some or other way. It's interesting how pwople react to drugs, I know people that will only eat shrroms because they are natural and will not use Acid cause it is too chemical, and will refuse extract pscilocybin with the same argument, soon as it turns into an unnatural form people get scared of it and throw lots of bullshit. just cause it'snatural it doesn't mean it's better for you, poison oak and galernias are natural why not pack a bowl of some nice poison oak man?
HPPD owns my soul...its taking completely took control of my waking existence. I have trouble sleeping because of all the static in my head. But shit happens, Im well over it...sunglasses help with reducing it visually, so ive taken to wearing them during the day. The more tired i am the worse it gets. Anyway, back on topic.... LSD is entirely flushed from your system in 3 days....only 0.01% of the actual dose taken reaches your serotonin receptors anyway, the rest is pissed out hours after the drug is taken; goes to show you how potent LSD actually is. Cool thing is, its so hard to test for even while its in your system that its virtually untestable. Or at least it used to be, they might have developed a more intricate and complex method of testing since ive been in outpatient, but thats how it always was.
people have war flashbacks, does that mean the ultraviolence is stored in your spine... The spinal thing is bogus, but flashbacks can occur, but as fucked or as often as people like to say.
