hey, i just wondered if any1 knows if there is an appeal or an online thing that ppl can sign to show their rememberance. and while we're on the subject who else is feeling kinda sorry 4 putin? i believe that his troops shouldnt have been in chechnia (sp) in the 1st place but every1 seems to b blaming him for what happened. surely all the anger should be aimed at the dudes who kept them hostage! jen x
Yeah but there is a suggestion that the "rescue" operation was bungled, like the theatre siege was a couple of years ago where they ended up poisoning many of the hostages in their attempt to save them. The Russian military has a history of heavy-handed bungled operations in these kinds of situations. The editor of a respected Russian newspaper was sacked from his job for publishing a different version of what actually happened, suggesting that according to eyewitness reports, the massacre was triggered when the families and armed militia outside the school began shooting, making the terrorists think they were being stormed. I will try to find a link to the story. If that were the case then a major failing in the operation was to not control the militiamen. Why were they not cleared from such a volatile scene? None of this is to detract from our sympathy to the bereaved and injured, and of course none of it would have happened if it hadn't been for the terrorists in the first place. *edit* Here is a link to the story about the editor of Izvestia: http://www.guardian.co.uk/russia/article/0,2763,1298409,00.html Unfortunately the bit about the true end of the siege differing from the official story was on an interview with the sacked editor broadcast on Channel 4 News last night so I can't find documentary evidence of that claim.
Oh, man, there is a LOT you don't know. Just to point out it very short: Russia won't give chechens their freedom, which they have been demanding for many years now. Putin himself hates chechens and suggests others to hate them too, he also stands behind the war in Chechenia. Under his order people are murdered there in vast amounts - even women and children! It is a living hell! I am SO sorry for chechens and I really feel for them, but russians are fucking assholes for all this political game with killing. Actually there is a theory, just like with 9/11 in US, that government actually makes all kinds of terror-acts to blame it on chechens. Russian government don't care about human lives. They kill people under hostage without any remorse. Putin is an asshole! FREEDOM FOR CHECHENIA! The last thing Russia anounced is that they, just like tha god damn US, is going to attack any terrorist-housing regions anywhere in the world. Fucking imperialist countries! You just can't not hate them! Terrorist governments!
wow! that post was an eye opener. i spose ur right! yeah putin the asshole! all leaders are the same though. well all the big names with stars and flashing lights around em anyway.... *Tony bLIAR* *George BuSHIT*. ah well, i wouldnt like to be in their shoes. x
I can't say this Terorizm in Russia is right....Terorost are terible people.... That day on September 1th they killed not guilty children.....It is very sad and horrible.....But Russia.....They can stop this, they can leave Chechenia alone..... MY country not long ago belonged to Russia, we were in Soviet Union..... Lithuania people had to fight very hard to get this freedom, of course they didn't it like some Chechenia terrorists.......BUt still I am against that silly Russia politics games.....I want that Chechenia would be free!!!
But, you see, terrorism is the only way left for them to ever survive and fight for their freedom. Sad but true! They would actually bomb THEMSELVES to pieces so their homeland would have it's freedom! I respect them for being ready to kill themselves for others! Ok, it's not nice to kill others in terroracts, but if you saw what russians do back there in chechenia! I saw a couple of documentals on the theme- .... horrible stuff! Genocide! Children, women, young and old, everybody is killed. Just like that! Killed! I support chechens with my heart! BTW - Putin said he would give 10 millions for info on how to get chechen leaders. The best thing ever - chechens just anounced they'd give 20 million dollars for PUTIN'S head! Awesome! Someone should give like 50 millions $ for Bush's head! YEAH! I would give some money for such a project! Maybe we should organize a kill-bush fond?
I am against terrorism......... The people who kill others - not guilty children in order to be free.....It's too terrible for me to understand...... If yours close friend, reletive would be killed by the terrorist who wanted to be free....What would you think then...??? MAybe many people killed in that school were with Chechenia, maybe they really wanted too see it free.......... I really can't understand terrorism, but I never Understand what that Russia is doing.....???I even can say that Russia and Chechenia's terrorists are equally guilty for such many people deaths....... I will always support countries, which are occupied by others and want to be free, but that freedom shouldn't cost so much - like not guilty people's deaths.....We all deserve to live , be free and happy.....Nobody can kill others.......That's my opinion.......!!!!
Shit, they're trying to stop those murders in Chechenia this way! If Russia stops murdering after a thousand killed russians, than a whole lot more of chechens will be saved! Ok, I said it in a very cinical way, but hell - chechens are more right (less wrong) in this situation than russians, that's for sure! Russians won't stop until all the chechens are killed!
Nobody wants to belong to somebody!!!!!! Chechenia want independence, cause some time ago they were free, now Russia telling them what to do ....!!!!!
one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter... The Russian really fucked up the siege, but yes, I agree that there wouldn't have been massacre in the firsplace if the Chechnian "terrorists" hadn't taken hostages in the first place. But then, this is all pretty much a moral minefield. The Russians really shouldn't be in Chechnia anyway, it's the Chechnian's fucking country and they want their freedom. But "no" says My Putin, "no no you bad chechnians, you belong to us".... except he'd say it in Russian. and don't you think its very interesting that some terrorists/freedom fighters like Che Guevara are honoured yet others are condemned? all I'm saying is try and see it from both sides
