I like not worrying about the rain. No umbrella for me. Just let it fall. Today I arrived to my classes totally soaked and happy and got a few stares in return. I got a kick out of it! Now if people could just drive reasonably in the rain... SLOW DOWN!!! Why fight the weather?
Rain Rain Rain Rain Rain Rain Rain RAIN! I wish it rained all day and the stars were out all night. OoOoO I love the rain! I ran around soaked today too, it was lovely. I was just dancing through the streets drenched, my neighbor looked at me like she was disgusted, I just smiled and shouted "Aren't we the luckiest people on Earth! WE'RE ALIVE!" hahaha, if you couldn't tell I love the rain.
wow, yeah me too! The more people screw up and try to avoid getting wet, the more uncomfortable they become. just relax and let it come down all around ypu afterall, rain does make the flowers grow. x
that is what Florida got. too much of the good, life-giving rains. now we are all bailing out after two consecutive hurricanes (and now a possible third!). i must say, despite all the death and destruction, i still love hurricanes. they have a natural function. just today, i was thinking about what a cleansing effect these storms have. they flush the land and the water systems out, and brush off all the dust and dead leaves and such. of course, i would not be saying this if my house had its roof torn off... all the same, bless the rainclouds
It always rains on picture day for me. It sucks. This year I wasnt too worried about my hair though because it's dreading and really cant get messed up. but my eyes were red from crying...which did suck.
I like the rain, I love watching it from under roof, but I don't like to get soaked, except for in hot weather, because I would usually freeze when wet and I don't like cold. And also the hair would stay wet for a few hours. I hate cold!
It did occur to me that my post might seem insensitive to all those who are being hit so hard by all the hurricane/tropical storm activity... Sorry!! I wonder if there's a thread somewhere to inform us if any members/guests have been affected, maybe we could help in some way....
If you were not meant to get wet, then it would not rain. My favorite quote to use when it starts downpouring outside.
Rain is nice, you can feel all the water going over and about you ^.^ really gives some feeling of aliveness. I must say that I hate it when I've had a really bad day and I'm tired etc. That kinda sux :& But what about fog! Fog is even better than rain, especially in the early morning. When you cycle/walk though the fog and you feel the chilling cold, it's not cold but chill, and you can't see everything, really mystical and chilling and cool and hmmmmmmmm fooooooooog. Fog's so nice
I like sunny weather with hardly any clouds and no wind better than the rain. But I like rain better than humidness.
OH.. that made me laugh. Out loud. Really! lover young peace reminds me of a younger version of me in her post and I have to admit sometimes I want to kick myself and I know other people do too... but you gotta love it/her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
