I had one in 5th grade, a monkey. Like everyone else I knew, I got sick of it fast.

I believe giga-pets were a way to get our generation hooked on little electronic gadgets at a young age. Giga-pets when we were in elementary school, cell phones when we were in high school..

 

i had one. it was fun. i played with it until it died of natural causes then tossed it in a box somewhere. it was fun when i had a really boring job.

 

Yep, had one in 5th grade.

It took me 20 minutes to get bored of it, so I traded it for a book.

It was for an Agatha Christie book too, Agatha Christie sucks.

I just finished reading Crime and Punishment, and a fucken Agatha Christie... eww.
