general question I have I didn't know where exactly to put this one but any way. throughout my life I've come across a couple of questions that I think will never be proven short of god or some other intelligent perspective. 1. what really makes the life I sense real, sure I can interact with an i.e apple and I can see you interact but where does this common sense of touch come from. how does this "If I see it, touch it, hear it. Then it's real" idea come about. 2.If 1+1=2 then what else besides the human mind can confirm this? i.e. based on a different alien/god view 1+1=7 which might be confirmed by other similar alien/god minds. 3. are mathematics and science equal opposites of philosophy and faith in viewing the world? 4. is chaos vs. order a mathematical question or a philosophical one. and are they really equal to each other or same as each? there are more I have but just something to generate discussion
1. where does it come from? there isn't any answer to this question. what you should ask instead is, could any answer possibly satisfy you? and if not, why bother asking? 2. same; you're a human with a human brain, and all the limitations of a human mind. there is no possible answer, because your natural perceptions are filtered and watered down on a biological level, and there isn't any getting around that. even on loads of acid. 3. sometimes. philosophy is too broad a term to be a complete antithesis of anything. 4. both are concepts and essentially irrelevant. a case could be made for either being possible. these are all questions with subjective answers, and any answer would only be an opinion.
