So i had a recurring dream and basically me and my boyfriends relationship was represented by a little barbie-sized doll in a toy car. the goal in like every dream was to push the toy car as far as we could down these many flights of stairs. they went down the first few flights really easy but the last flights of stairs were really hard to get down.. like there were lots of landings and stuff. in the previous dreams the car has never reached the bottom but this time we both like pulled it to the bottom. it seemed like it was always our goal to get it down there. and then when we did there was a bunch of controversy with his ex girlfriend and he was like with her behind my back and all this totally horrible stuff!! I was wondering what kind of symbolism includes pushing/falling downstairs and little toy cars representing relationships. it was a terrible end to the sequence of dreams and i guess i was trying to figure out what it all meant.... any ideas?
Usually going 'down' is bad and going 'up' is good. Pushing the cars down may signify that you are both working to ruin your relationship, dragging each other down, becoming depressed.
sounds to me like a declining relationship. the barbie doll is plastic, which easily can signify something being or becoming fake, and losing its feeling. also, when you mentioned 'rushing' this car, this is a big indicator of your own relationship - mainly that being jumping into things, or jumping to conclusions fast. in either case, you said the ending was horrible - this sometimes can symbolize a possible future, or it can just be your fear being projected in plain view. you may be having second thoughts, and he MAY be cheating [or end up doing so eventually]. all in all, it sounds like a bad relationship for the both of you. do what you think is right Good luck!
