Ok, so I like to do this: get totally unreal, dress up in a suit and tie, put on some cologne, and browse through the stores looking at stuff while my mind is swinging back and forth like a pendulum. "Can I help you?" the kind lady asks. No, thank you, I'm just looking (at all the wavy shirts and ties, the pants that are dancing, the melting faces of sales people). Don't ask, because I don't know why I do it. I look "straight," so it's not too hard to float serenely past the cavernous openings to dark labyrinths, the brightly lit bubble gum balloon where they sell CDs and things like that. The music hits me like a ton of bricks; I stand and listen, and then walk on as the tendrils of musical smoke curl about and then fade from view. It's only when the clown-women of Bath and Body Works assault me that I feel the need to GET HOME QUICK. Another journey into another unknown reality is over.
It's like a self test - reality vs. unreality, who will win this time? When I'm straight, I know the waves I get when I'm trippin aren't really real, but it's hard to tell the difference sometimes... I think another excursion is in order soon, maybe to the local musical instrument store, yeah, that would be nice.
I hope I didn't hurt your feelings, because normally they don't bother me. It's just that sometimes the ladies there seem weird, especially if I'm trippin.
lol no offense taken like I said, if I didnt work there, I wouldnt shop there myself. and the smell makes me sneeze
I just had a very funny image of this freaky-deaky looking kid dolled up in his weddings-and-funerals suit, reeking of cologne, with his pupils the size of saucers, obviously messed up, getting the "can I help you" treatment, and thinking he's pulling a Doc Ellis. Sounds like a fun trip anyhow, and not trying to put you down or anything, but it just made me laugh.
lol thats wat their for, to help u better understand reality, lol an btw ur post sounded like something out of fear and loathing. reallllly cool
I think next time I'm gonna do maybe 30mg of bees and go to the music store. I love playing the boards there, so cool.
