I know this kinda a "uhh..obviously" kind of topic, but it seems more evident to me each time it works the last..i dunno 6 months i've been probably the most unhealthy i've been in my entire life I smoke Daily, on average i'm drinking 60+ beer a week, and thats not even going out to bars or even any special occasion [the gut is evidence of that] but with this i've also been getting sick more often twice i've had this weird kinda cold/congestion I currently have now, which is just a head cold that gets into my chest/head anyways it usually fucks up my throat pretty good and I try to avoid blazing or doing anything 'normal' i guess to attempt to get better, but obviously I always end up blazing and drinking [sometimes even moreso] but with this..i get better? Weed definately has some sort of medicinal qualities to it, and i'm sure alot of people will think "no shit you idiot" but i'm sure of those people, not many get to experiance it Anyone else have similar stories?
I'm with you on this one. I started smoking this Spring, and I'm fifteen, so I can't get out of the house too much since I don't have a car. So this summer, I've smoked maybe twice a day, everyday, with the occasional 5 day breaks when I run out. I also can't excercise alot, because I messed up my back halfway through the summer, and can't do anything physical until a few weeks into August. I definitely feel alot groser than I did at the beginning of this summer. And I've gotten sick a few times as well, and I never get sick. I can't wait to start working out again
Yeah, i agree with you. this past year was my first year in college. i was away from home and fuckin excited about it, so i did whatever i want and whenever i wanted. i became really unhealthy because of it (smoked a pack and more of cigarettes a day, drank every day, ate at unusual times and didn't eat healthy) i started getting really sick ALL the time. it seemed like for a whole semester i was sick. but everytime i would blaze i would be able to do anything. i could go out to parties, and hang out with my friends and whatever else. but whenever i wasn't stoned, all i did was lay in bed and sleep.
Im not really exactly seeing what you want us to tell you digital... You maybe feel shitty because your damaging your body with all the alcohol and lack of exercise your taking.. Maybe you just need to be more healthy and get out more. I think you can answer your own question by not smoking more weed to feel better but changing your lifestyle to feel better.
weren't you in another thread a while back saying that daily smokers are 'scum' or something like that? have you changed your position on the issue?
i smoke everyday but i dont drink and i barely ever get sick...and on the occasions i do get sick I smoke and it makes me feel better so i think its the weed thats making you sick
I think weed can help you feel physically better sometimes, but it sounds like the symptoms you are feeling are preventable, so you shuldnt have to be smoking weed to solve the pain or sickness int he first place: rather, you should try changing your eating/drinking habits, and maybe find a cool sport to play sometimes, you dont haveta be completely into it and really competitive and serious...you just need something thatll get you up and about. even if its just going on walks everyday, i do that in the woods, i just get lost and wander, and its awesome. and maybe just try drinking less, i myself never liked drinking much, but i can udnerstanad that many do, and im sure its lotsa fun...but if its making you sick, why not bring it down a couple nothces and just try to get back in shape a bit more... cuz then when you smoke, you wont be smoking to feel better...cuz you already WILL be better...so tehn the weed will just make you feel even amazing-er. ya dig me?
60+ beers a week? thats like...10 beers a day man no wonder your getting sick. but yea i smoke when my stomach feels like shit . but i never smoke when i have a headache. it just makes it much worse. but a nice smoke will take away my head cold everytime.
like i said, this is the worst i've been just because of summer and partying give me 3 months starting in september and i'll be healthier than 90% of the people on here, it's just that i've kinda not given a fuck about what i've been doing lately, and work + school = stress
i totally here ya digital, i turned 21 a couple of months ago and i've been hitting up the bars and spending most of my money on booze. Although i haven't been smoking as much as normal (inbetween harvests) i still smoke cigs, roughly 1/2 pack per day. My days there for awhile consisted of waking up at 12pm, getting rid of hangover, smoke a bowl or two, crack a couple beers, head out to the bar, get home at 2:30-3am drinkin a few more, then passing out and repeating the cycle. Here lately i've been better because as you said, the gut don't lie (i gained like 20+lbs in a couple weeks), i've been walking the dog and not going to the bar so much. This has greatly helped my health, although i do know what ya mean, during the summer time i usually do get kinda lazy and into the party mode. But as soon as winter hits, i get a bit more healthy. Anywho im sure you'll get back into the groove of things when your ready.
