Wasn't he caught in bed with Clapton?({edit}sorry, It was Clapton and Jagger..my bad);)

He was and is one of the best pop rock songwriters, without question.

I really like Bowie's music. From his early stuff as Alladin Sane and Ziggy Stardust up to the China Girl stuff with Stevie Ray Vaughn. Who knows, if not for Bowie, would SRV have surfaced on his own? Probably, but it is still nice to know that Bowie gave him his first break. As for the small minded people here who call him a fag or whatever, there are many gay people in music, and probably more than you know, and probably one of your favs is gay and you just dont know it. While I aint gay, I dont care who is, as long as they dont direct themselves towards me, I could care less. And yes, some of Bowie's music is quite bizzare, but then again, that just shows his diversity. So, while David Bowie is not a top fav of mine, I still like much of his music, and he is a pretty good actor as well.
