time of year to grow

    ok its july 29 i live in washington state i wanna start lika week from now in the woods washingtongets a good amount what will happen if i start now will they grow? i have a good spot dug a knee deep hole and filled with potting sil washington gets good amount of sun and rain so somone help me here

    You can start them now, but they wont have time to get "full grown". On the other hand, a short growing season makes for a good "trial run".

    For a full growing season it's best to start in Spring, shortly after the last frost warning.
