hey guys im new, i was wondering, i've heard that there's a way to get more quantity per plant. i want to know if there's a way to get more quantity in a harvest while having decent quality, but the quality doesn't have to be extremely good, just decent. also what is the average amount in a harvest per plant? is it at least 1 ounce? or less?
There are so many variables, I almost don't know where to start. I will say that as I become more experenced I think about yeald(sp?) per watt, not per plant, as the key number. With good conditions and decent genitics you should get about .5g per month per watt, useing a minimum 400w HPS. I don't know about outdoor.
Depends how you grow the plant..... Indoor, Outdoor? Nutes, Soil, Hydro, Aeroponics, DWC, seehs... I mean.. wow so many variables...
really?? i plan on using a 450w hps light for 2 plants. and i will get an approximation of .5g x 450?? thats about 8 ounces in per plant! sweet! ohh and i plan on growin indoor, either closet or a room. usin hydroponics.
So if the Ranger was still posting he would tell you to buy a good grow book and read it often. Why reinvent the wheel when some of the writers like Ed Rosenthal or Jorge Cervantes have turned out great guides to producing killer marijuana. These guys could teach MJ 101 at Ag. colleges; one of their books are the best 15 bucks you're ever gonna spend on weed. We all make mistakes now and then, but reading the right parts of one of these books will lessen your chances of crop failure and allow you to grow more better sooner than you thought you ever could. Actually they could also teach MJ 656 to doctoral candidates, but their books are written to be understood by potheads.
First time growin, you will be lucky to get a half oz per plant, mainly due to not knowing all the details you need to know. Growing weed is pretty simple, hey it's a weed after all, but there are definitely some important details you need to brush up on beforehand. Like Fisheadbob says, get a book
