dave makes an awesome red sauce with fresh peppers, sweet onions, chicken and his own little batch of seasoning tricks. so good. he serves it over farfalle with fresh grated reggiano. we just ate that for dinner last night. amazing.
today i took some extra angel hair that was in the fridge, tossed it in a pan of olive oil, onions, capers, garlic and burst tomatoes. then in finished it with just a bit of balsamic vinegar and chunks of reggiano. forgot to mention the fresh rosemary and fennel seed.
mmm.. penne pasta with carrots, zucchini, fresh pealed tomatoes, garlic, juice of a lemon, mushrooms and shrimp... man I had a great dinner.
The best pasta in my opinion is either a chicken pasta or an all veggie pasta with heaps of red Italian sauses or olive oil (depending on whether its chicken pasta or veggie), garlic, onion, tomatos, parsley, just a tiny bit of parmesan cheese and the crustiest Italian bread available!!! My dad's pasta is teh shittz.
hell i just bile me up some noodles in some broth and throw in some hamburger, or whatever else is handy and edible, and doesn't eat me first. them's the, what they call staples, never figgured out that one, cause staples is them little metal things i think you'd probably choke on and kill yourself if you tried to eat them, but anyway, yup, stuff with noodles is like the main thing that i eat. don't need to give it no fancy names or nothin. just throw in some goodies like bella shroomies, or some kind of dead critter, or some combi of vegies. jis get the billi bilin with some sort of broth in it and throw in some kinda noodles and there ya go. things that takes longer to cook goes in first. and gets chopped up finer furst, but that's about it. simple. easy. don't have to take a bunch of genius tryin to figgure something out. now don't get me wrong. all that fancy stuff is wonderful too. i chow down it whenever i get the chance. but pan of boiling broth is the universal begining of it, whatever else happens later. =^^= .../\...
Penne + Vodka Sauce = Really good I used to eat penne in butter when I was little--that was my favorite then. Silly.
