why? because there is NO night life, dammit! the local guys are so uninterresting and NOT my type, (mommies boys trying the macho thing, but not succeding) people, the tourists, thinking they so into charras (haha, as if it was something SO special, but everyone is smoking, its so mainstream) I came here to find some drop out and freaks and healers and real seekers, but i find only BORING boring tourists.... iam getting out of here and not coming back. feel disapointed and i am wasting my time in this fucking place. no more india for me. IT S OVER
Oh but there is nightlife in India. What is wrong with daylife anyway? I guess you are just looking at all the wrong places for your high standards and expectations. If you open yourself up instead of forcing yourself you will find what you look for. And more. Much more....
Sounds to me you went to India looking for the wrong things...(Local guys and nightlife). Plus you give us no indication of where in India you are. It's a BIG country, which I guess you've chosen to judge based on how much experience there? I know I was there for six months and feel I barely scratched the surface of those few areas I visited... You need to leave your western ideas and expectations behind you when you visit India or you will be sorely disappointed. BTW, if you are American or English you are allowed VERY LONG STAYS in India. American can now stay for YEARS AT TIME there! You just need to pay for each year you plan to stay in advance (not too much). I noticed they will give a 10 yr. visa to Americans now. I think it's a recipricol thing cause so many Indians now work in the US (or in India, pretending they work in the US!).
I have always wanted to visit ASIA...Korea,Japan,India,Thailand,Hong Kong My son is going to South Korea in November & will be there for a year, so now I have a good exceuse to get a passport
