i know 4 months isn't very long, but it's hard for me to believe they are almost that old (august 1st)...it's definitely been a struggle at times and the thought of giving up and shaving my head has appeared once or twice, but i'm glad to say i'm sticking with them. i had major problems with the right side of my head at the back engulfing every dread into one huge matted congo, so my friends spent 4 hours ripping apart/brushing out about 10 dreads yesterday and reforming them into 4 new ones. they tied some ends up and did some general maintenance, and i'm feeling alright about them now. on saturday they are going to round the rest of the edges for me. next week we are going to bleach my hair and dye my grey/green/white/blue hair P) back to bright blue and my brown hair a bit darker brown. i made a bunch of clay beads/sleeves to separate the dreads during the day when i don't have time to palm-roll them, and they are working well i've also started sleeping with a toque on. anyways. blah blah blah. here are some flix
