Acid first time - doesn't work?

Hey there - my first post on these forums.

I recently got some acid with some friends. I'm currently on holiday in spain (im from the UK) and have been talking with them while im here... but most of them said it didn't work for them. Infact, all the first timers (me included, as im a first timer, but ive not had mine yet) said it didn't work. However it did for people that had taken it before (so it's not faulty stuff).

As it will be my first time I planned on taking half a tab anyway, but is there anything I can do to help it work?
If I take half when I get home, and then half in a few days, will the second piece work?
Or is I take it in coordiantion with other drugs (Ganjah or E) will that work?

if you want it to actualy work eat 3 tabs. from the way it sounds a half tab wont help you, and a half tab after a few days def wont help ya. unless you're a massive stoner and require ganj to survive, dont toke if you get a bum trip for it will just make things worse, you're not helping the situation by pumping more chems into ya.

LSD can be shitloads of fun, be careful, watch your set and setting.

 

well n00bs can be a little mishandleing with acid, Leaving it in their pocket and not a cool place, Leaving it in sun, touching the main part before consumtion. not storeing it right. not taking it right
so

1. Keep it in a cool place (in tinfoil).
2. Do Not touch it till your going to take it.
3. When you do take it suck on it till you feel a little woozy. Like colours are looking a little deeper. the swallow.
4. Dont mind the last guy, smoke as much weed as you want. The acid ledgend on this site, i can remeber his name but he had a pic of him with a beard, said that it heightens the trip and i agree 100%.

Take things as it comes, On one tab your not going to see anything that amazing, things will just be very funny. and things like paintings will swirl around the place.

take atleast 2 tabs, thats what I took my first time, and yes weed helps on the comedown.

 

My first time was half a hit and it worked fine, lasted 12 hours and I had some nice visuals and a very nice mindtrip. It wasn't as strong as my seccond trip though, but thena gain the first time was only half(!) a hit.

unfortunately ive only got 1 tab as it's pretty hard to get hold of here. and yes i've kept it in a fridge.

what's the come-down like? as bad as E?

i'm going to a rave on saturday, alot of people seem to say take it in a controlled environment, so I might just take E for that night.

Can be hard to get to sleep, benzos help. Next day you are so tired you feel like dieing, but appart from that. Its really good for putting you back into a normal sleep patern.

On tab, sure it will be fine. Depends on the quality though. You should definitly get something though.

Oh btw when i said you were to suck on it, do it for about 2 min, and watch when you take out of fridge that no moisture gets on it.

I do agree with him slightly, at least wait till your 20 or so. I didnt strat cid till i was 25

 

Since youve only got one tab and its probably weak as hell. I would suggest dropping it immediately after you take your E on Saturday. The two work wonderful together IMO.

 

My first time was 2 1/2 hits. It had baked in the sun prior (before it was in my possession) so it was pretty weak, but I did trip nicely for a few hours, the rest of the time was just CEV's (which were very cool) and feelings of love and happiness. LSD is an amazing drug and needs to be treated with respect <3

 

wow I did one hit, I cant imagine doing any more... I had a very intense trip and there isn't a day I don't think about what went through my mind that day. It changed my life a lot, an experience I never want to forget

NO such things as emotional heartache after Alice for most people. Many get a little achy (probably fomr sheer exhaustion of being off it for 8 - 12 hours) and many people try and sleep before 12 hours have passed and then are annoyed when it doesn't happen.

Time the trip right and it will be sweet. No need for benzos in that case.

Just a quick point. Some drugs have cross tolerance. For example, shrooms and LSD. I'm sure there are more and perhaps (Ibiza by any chance?) if you've been taking various things that could be why it hasn't worked. If you kept it safe and cool and dry etc etc. there is very little other reason. Watch teh set and settign and remember 2 things 1: You will feel like you're completely losing control and many enjoy this annd many dont. 2: once you reach yrou plateau or once you're properly up you will be able to control which senses take over and play aournd with that by just controllign your own attention. So if teh visuals get too much concentrate on the sound/taste etc. and if teh visual do get too much, enjoy them, although they may be deformed at times they will also be beautiful. Nature always so.

Well I took that first tab last week, about wed or thurs - it didn't do anything just made me felt a bit weird (maybe that was because i was on a fair amount of speed though.)

On saturday, I got a tab. Had that at a rave in a pub, then ended up with another half somehow. This stuff was called 'Hoffman'. Anyway, it was completely different to how I expected. I tripped stuff, like things looking different, but that all seemed different to me. I was in a completely different state on mind and felt like I knew everything and could see anyone. Then after I left this rave I felt so happy my head had exploded.

When I went to a chill out party in a guy's basement there was a chill out room and a rave room - it was pretty damn surreal. I had a different perspective on everything and I could feel peoples' thoughts, but I had some experiences I didn't want to remember.

When I got home in the morning, I'd just had enough, and it took me an hour to come down after that, it was bad, I just wanted it to end.

My friend that did it with me (his real first time too) got home and his trip turned bad and put him off it forever.

 

i havnt really heard of people not being able to trip the first time. you usually just hear that about pot. i guess it depends on the acid.

no way id take more than a single hit of untested material. never underestimate the potency. the first time i tripped i was out for about 10 hours. which would be fine, but i had to go to work completely gonzo. im glad i didnt get fired that day. as for a comedown, i had a nasty headache afterwards but it could just be from lack of eating.
