twist and rip

    hi guys, it is my first post and i have had dreadish things on my head for 8 months now i started when my hair was 3"long and i used the backcombed method, anyway i was wondering if anyone could explain to me the twist and rip method so i could give ita go
    on my ends to keep them a bit tighter
    i have been looking for it on the forum but alas i have not found it

    i think thats basically it... you twist and rip the hair apart.
    it kinda leaves lumpy weird bits tho.

    but i might be thinking of something completely diff.

    No, you are right, praying4peace. I have used this method for about 3 months now. You just twist the hair so it looks like a rope and then separate in two parts and rip.
    I agree with the lumpy parts :tongue: but it's an easy way to get knots in the hair.
