It has been almost three weeks. I went out and spent the money on dreadhead wax and the kit. I found out right after that its not that good to use, so I quit using it, except for the dread accelerator. I found that it has actually helped my process. I have been tempted to cut it off a couple times at the beginning, thinking it wouldn't work, look good, or be comfortable. I have gained a liking for them so I still have them and I am falling in love with them. My hairs about 8-9 inches. I thiink for the most I am very satisfied with the results. Most of the dreads around my head seem to be tightening up. There is a few on the top of my head that are thinner then the rest somereason, and there having trouble dreading. It's like they just will not knot correctly, I could still brush them. So my only problems are I guess is, I would like to know what would help my top ones start to dread, and im almost out of accelerator, should I make my own out of sea salt, water, and lemon juice? I also have trouble palm rolling the back ones so there a little lumpy, will I be able to smooth them out over time? I love where this is going, I'm just scared I will mess them up. Can I use like a gell to keep the loose hairs together? I may have messed up a couple on top because I started to create a couple twists, and wierd knots to hold them together a little better. I hope it all works out. Thanks for the viewing...
dude dont worry bout them not knotting up after 3 weeks iv had mine for 7 months and not even half of them have started knotting up. dont worry bout the ones at the back, mine are all flat, lumpy, loopy, crazy man. making your own spray from sea salt etc is a good idea thats wat i done but i never bother using it. and dont worry bout ure dreads looking messy they will look like that for months but if u rly want gel use 100% aloe gel i hear that is good. dont worry bout it they will be fine just one thing...get some pics up man
Yeah, aloe vera is great, but if you decide to get an aloe vera plant, the gel in it only realy starts to get a good hold in it after its about a year old. That said, aloe vera plants are probably almost a year at the nursery..
