What if what we are living through is a program to explore which type of system will triumph as being able to control the world, or give greatest personal growth, or spread the greatest justice, or greatest horror? When I look at the religious systems extent: 1) I see one that teaches we are slaves to a God who tells it followers to slay and enslave those who are not part of the in group, and it has a clear vision of an afterlife. 2) Another system teaches that we should love each other, encourage each other to do right, and discourage those who do wrong from doing more, and it has a unimaginable vision of an afterlife. 3) Another teaches that Gods people are to live and teach justice to the nations they encounter with no clear vision of an afterlife. 4) Another teaches that there is no Diety, but rather that we are all part of one great something, and there are not really individual souls but only tendencies of an individual that move from what is called a lifetime to another life time. 5) Still another teaches that there is no Diety, but rather that we are all part of one great something, and there are individual souls who journey from lifetime to another life time some say for a reason, some say because there is nothing else to do. 6) Still another teaches that there is a Diety that may reveal itself as may gods, and we are all part of the Diety looking at itself , yet there are individual souls who journey from lifetime to another life time purifying themselves. 7) Yet another teaches that everything is always happening at the same time and it just seems like there is time. Maybe it is some kind of a lab experiment?
well, what if it is? its still up to us to avoid screwing everything up for each other, because whoever, whatever, launched it, has better things to do then to continue chainging our diapers, which it they, doesn't that i can see, seem to be doing that good of a job of anyway. i really don't see any signiffigant difference then the 'its all a sim' scenario, and what most beliefs seem to be implying. just looking at the same proposition from a slightly different perspective. there doesn't have to be or not be one or more dieties. one possible difference is that in a sim there would have to be an us for there to be a point of it. in real life there does not have to be an us, or an anything. there is however a structure, sim or not, to how things work. and by messing things up too much for each other, it is possible to mess up everything the existence of all of us depends upon to such an extent that it becomes no longer able to continue to make our existence possible. this is both a real and immediate concern, and one that is in our own hands, sim or no sim, even diety or no diety. =^^= .../\...
