Where do you get your ingredients to make bath salts? Especially if you wanted to make alot to sell? Is there a website that I should check out?

I think That All You really Need Is Kosher Salt Or Large Rock Salt (Not that Stuff Ya Throw On Ice In The Winter) And get Essential Oils And Throw Some Drided Rose or lavender peddles And Some other Fun Stuff..... Make it Fun And Smell Really Nice...

Yeah its really just sea salt (well thats what I like) and your choice of essential oil and dried herbs....depends on what you are going for...calming, energizing, etc.....unless you want fizzy bath salts and then you use some citric acid.

get a small piece of mesh fabric and put the salts in that and throw them in the tub. It works great.

I use a muslin bag when I'm using dried herbs in the tub....if not you come out with herbs stuck in your hair and all other places....haha.

Slipping, falling and landing on crunchy bath salt.....triple bummer!

I find that ebay has a ton of stuff for bath salts/soaps. I just started making lotions, but because the ones I'm making require fresh fruit, I can't sell them on ebay-so I just make extra small bottles and give them to my friends for now.

You can use any non-iodized salt...even table salt will work. Stir in a few drops essential oil and maybe a drop or two of food coloring and add to the bath.
Salts are fun, but my personal favorite is powdered milk with a few drops vanilla extract....heavenly!

use two parts epsom salts to one part bakingsoda
plus several drops of whatever essential oils and/or coloring you like..

this is the recipe i used to make mine. i used food coloring in mine, and while i changes the color of the water, it doesnt stain my skin.
