...Do you go crazy? I mean, get really into it and start acting all crazy... I'm a huge dork, and I'm not afraid to admit it, so when I listen to music in my room I can't help but start going nuts, busting out the air guitar and everything else. Just wondering who else here does that, haha.
i love serenading people from my car and and seat dancing for them. especially to cheesy disco. i really enjoy seeing people rocking out int heir cars. a sure sign they're not afraid to have fun for fear of being embarassed.
Thats kinda what I'll do. Songs that I really get into, I'll pick up my guitar and start figuring out how to play it. I'll just put the song on repeat, and keep going over and over until I finally get it down..
thats why i never buy furniture.beanbags n matresses. n when i buy a music player my first priority is,,if i kick it will it still work?saw sum guy who had a plexiglass case fer his boombox. smart feller.
one of the reasons i don't like to have music on all the time, is that like everything else, if its worth doing, it IS worth getting totally into. and i'm all the time more often myself into actually doing something of my own. but i do sometimes visit musician's websites and listen to what samples they give out for free. and it's usually something i'm interested in when i do because that's usually how i get there in the first place. i often anymore, dont even have the radio on, and when it is, it's almost always a noncomercial, local community station, in a fairly nearby community that has a LOT of DAMD GOOD musicians living and making their music in it. i'm more into air keyboards then air guitars, that and orchestra conducting batons, but yeah, i DO sometimes choose to get that into it. (i was in the orchestral band in high school, where i played french horn at the time. i think its been damd near 40 years since i've even owned one, though i've had and played other odd insturments since then. i haven't owned a midi keyboard yet. got my fist digital camera this year, so maybe a keybord is next or the year after. i did, back in the 70s and 80s build some analog synth modules and had a lot of fun with them and a vox jag i played through them. but no, i've never gone pro, or even am ever likely to get close to doing so. tin ear. can't pick up a melody line of key progression from hearing it to save my soul. but i can read them chicken scratching that someone else wrote down and printed out just fine. can't always intuit the intended phraising unless i hear it also. but sometimes i can. or make up my own. untill it sounds like it works) =^^= .../\...
i get real excited when i hear something that actually sparks my interest. i start breathing heavily, dancing and jumping up and down. sometimes i can't even talk...haha.
FUCK YES examples godspeed you black emperor black mirror by arcade fire Put on something soothing, like some folk, otherwise, you get into the music and start jumping around. I get into music so much that it makes homework a long drawn out thing..but with out, I just can't get started on HW. kind of a paradox I guess.
lol, you guys care so much if people see you! I was in the supermarket the other day, and Queen came on, and I was like OMG. So I started dancing and singing along in the middle of the supermarket. I don't mind if people laugh, I'm just spreading more cheer in the world! In fact I dont even need music to start rocking out randomely. I even start singing and dancing in school and in the street with no music It's fantastic, not caring what people think! It's just a shame some of my friends care lol. But my best friends join in
