Is that show supposed to be funny?

 

Get with the times. The Daily Show is the funniest shit around.

 

I think it was better when Colbert was still there. : (

 

Colbert has his own show. both are great.

 

The Daily Show is awesome, but I think The Colbert Report is way funnier. Jon Stewart's Dick Cheney Noises are pretty funny though.

 

The Daily Show is hilarious. But I think The Colbert Report is so much funnier. I guess I like all the segments better, like Better know a district, formidable opponent, tip of the hat wag of the finger, the word. And I like the fact that he does 99% of the show by himself, no correspondents, it's all about colbert, and the colbert nation.

 

i prefer the colbert report. I think hes a lot better and he makes me laugh more than john stewart

 

I like both, colbert report i like a little better though, now that he has his broken wrist lmao!

 

the "you don't know Dick" series cracks me up every time

 

For people comparing the 2 you have to remember, The Daily Show is supposed to be a mock news show, so Stewart does have to maintain some sense of seriousness and orde and make jokes about big news stories, The Colbert Report though is a mock of right wing news shows like Bill O Riley so Colbert gets to just about say whatever he wants as long as he can make it relevant.

But back on topic, I gotta say while I do probably laugh more during the Colbert Report, I like the Daily Show more, I don't laugh as much, but Stewart makes me laugh in more subtle and intelligent ways.

 

yeah, the daily show is really quite clever, and I really like how John Stewart can laugh at his own jokes. On the other hand, I haven't liked the Colbert Report after the first couple of episodes.
He very blatantly reads off of his teleprompter and it really bothers me. Occasionally he emphasizes the wrong word or misspeaks and that just ruins the whole thing for me. Too fake in my opinion.

 

I love both Stewart and Colbert - although I understand why there are some who aren't fans of these shows. Not everyone is into the whole 'fake news' genre.
