These are just a few anti war poems I have written lately. This first one is actually song. Its basically the whole bombing/fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity, yea thats like the message I was trying to convey. Wasted Life The day was young when I went down And the world became a blur of green and brown A bullet to the chest and I was laying with the rest Who gave their lives For peace What if there was another way What if we could try and save A soul And maybe if we try, no one else will ever die For peace I gave up my future I wasted my past Now the only thing fate has in store for me Are flowers and flowers by the basket And mother weeping over an American flag draped casket The pain is increasing And I hope this isn’t treason But as death draws near, I think I hear My conscious saying That wars a waste And that this world needs a taste Of peace What if there was another way What if we could try and save A soul And maybe if we try, no one else will ever die For peace On my tombstone it’ll say: Maybe, just maybe the fighting will end So never again Will anyone die For peace Satan's Favorite Game Never has there been a place So gruesome to behold So ghastly a scene As the place where gunshots and shrapnel cross The ravine Where the gun and the blade Have the final say On who goes home And who remains And when the carronades boom The smoke spells doom Misery and pain When man comes to the crossroads On the path to peace More often than not They take the road Riddled with death Suffering and shame And so I ask How many corpses must litter the path to peace And how long until The cannons are still And doves cross the ravine Unfurl the Banner (Im gonna make this one into a song as well) I was walking down the street on a Friday afternoon When I saw a man playing a solemn tune He came up to me and said mourn my friend For today is the day that the world will end I asked him what he meant and he raveled a thread He told me that hope was crushed and dead He said if we wanted to save the world Then we must try to get the banner of peace unfurled I know that we gotta repair the world And make it safe for every boy and girl The wind can tell a thousand tales As it breezes by like a ship with sails But lately it only speaks of death Prejudice and the hangman’s rope Maybe it’s not impossible Maybe there’s still some hope From the war torn battlefield where bullets fly Where hatred brews and the innocent die To the impoverished nations crying for help The world needs a savior the world needs help Everyone must step up and be brave If we all do our part then maybe we can save Maybe we can save the world So lets unfurl the banner of peace There’s plenty of room we’ll all get a piece You take one end I’ll take the other And let us bring peace to the world my brother Even though I don’t know you We still gotta love each other like the families do Cuz when the world can act like a family Then it will be safe for you and me We gotta repair the world And make it safe for every boy and girl The wind can tell a thousand tales As it breezes by like a ship with sails But lately it only speaks of death Prejudice and the hangman’s rope Maybe it’s not impossible Maybe there’s still some hope
haha yo, far out dude... When I was walking to work after studying macro economics(don't ask why) I came up with this line of figurative expression whilest also thinking about unibombers(again don't ask why)... sentiments not incendiants, you are da bomb, now hit da bong, not ka-boom, tape yourself with expressions of reflections, not conducents for contusions, and alas the wars end is in sight, unibongers unite! haha, I think it needs work, but also gets the point across.
haha yeah, it's not in song or rythmic form or anything, but again it's what I thought of to keep myself entertained while walking to work... I pretty recently wrote a song called "AH Solace", it covers war, domestic problems and upheaval, social-political ranting and other various topics... It's a kind of doors inspiration, and a chick I know...That's how I do, lots of clutter then the big bang. You should definately write some more, nothing like it. :ha: oh yeah and my pops just thinks that was a long winded way to the saying, "drop acid not bombs". "To each his own" I replied...
Yea I mean my first one (wasted life) is pretty much saying fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity, but I mean its fun to elaborate.
yea it is, holy shit dude, I just realized you're only fourteen, right on man, what else do you write about?
Anything thats on my mind. Or any other emotions I may have. Short stories are always fun. I'm actually working on one right now.
That's really good work, ESPECIALLY for your age. I'm really impressed. Don't stop writing, it would appear you have quite a gift.
