the question that's been pondering me for 2 days now

If a cyclops has 1 eye... would we all be known as a bi-clops?

i pondered a question like that one time and ive never lived it down...

 

Cyclops originated from the Greek word "kyklope", which means "round eyed" or "wheel eyed".

So... bi-clops would make no sense.

thats so odd cuz today i was wondering why if glasses that offer two prescriptions in one are called bifocals than why aren't glasses that only offer one presciption per lens called cyfocals!?!?!
