I don't really know any gay guys that like Madonna or Cher or whoever. The ones I've met tend to either listen to club music, or stuff like Ciara or Beyonce. I'm not too much into the female R&B, besides like Missy Elliot or Tila Tequila, but I effin love club music. It's not really a kind of thing that can be generalized, music. More of a personal, individual kind of thing.
Mmm, thank you for that lovely post. Most of my friends actually are into those artists so that's why I wondered if that's more common. No offense. I enjoy Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Phil Ochs and David Bowie as well, I hope I'm allowed to kiss your feet now.
I like Madonna but Cher is on my "people who need to catch the plague" list I listen to dance, techno a little, but mostly punk and ska
Gah, I hate all those artists. I like rock, hardcore punk, alt. country, experimental, you get the deal.
I've never liked Madonna or Cher.Maybe they have a couple good songsI guess;but to each his/her own.I've always been into classic rock,metal,jambands,etc..Give me the Beatles,Phish,Zeppelin,Sabbath, moe,Floyd, the Dead:those bands do it for me!
I like mostly metal, Korn, SOAD, Trivium, Helmet although I do like other stuff like Bright Eyes and Gong. I cant stand Madonna, Cher, R&B, dance, pop, etc.
For me there are like 3 categories punk & ska funk & jazz George Michael Other stuff too , but mostly that aha
I'm all over the place, Post-Rock, Alternative Rock, Psychedelic Trance/Goa, a bit of Drum and Bass, and of course anything that floats my boat.
Hahaha! Are you my soulmate or something? Kidding. Um, I don't like Madonna, Cher, and whoever else was named by the OP. I mainly listen to Fleetwood Mac, Matthew Good, Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, and KMFDM. Haven't met any LGBT that were big fans of said music, but I don't know many gay people to begin with.
and he was so obviously gay, though. i saw them years and years ago in concert. fucking awesome band. i loved them. what a voice, what a show, what a screaming homosexual. it's like those people who looked back on liberace and realized in hindsight how gay he was, wondering why they didn't get it right away.
and for those of you who don't know me very well, the above post is purely in humor for how gay stereotypes come into being.
I have a preference for very heavy metal (Thrash, Grunge, Speed, Nu etc) and I love those type of concerts. Like the dance stuff if I'm out in a club Basical will dig any genre especially live Could never stand Madonna though ..........or Cher
I consider myself to be eclectic in my musical tastes. I listen to a little bit of everything. The only types I really can't stand are Rap, Heavy Metal, and Hip Hop. I do have a few exceptions when it comes to Rap though. I'm not much into Dance or Techno either. There are only a few techno songs that I like. I actually like Cher, but I don't listen to her very much these days. A used to like Madonna, but I've grown out of her. I have no clue who Kylie is and I only like two Donna Summer songs. If I like any singers that tend to have a large gay following, it's purely coincidental. I never heard of Cher until Sonny Bono died, so I checked out her music. I ended up liking it, but it had nothing to do with her having a large gay following.
