What Is Your Position On Swinging? And Swingers"? Your Like's And Dislike's? And When Is Enough , Enough, And When And Where Do You Know When TO Draw The Line, With Emotional Issue's And Stuff Involved With Swinging In Gerneral?
My opinion of swinging? Either you're hard-wired for it or you aren't. Some people I've known couldn't hope to stay true to one partner for more than two weeks. For them, swinging openly is healthier than cheating secretly, which is what most of them did before they discovered the lifestyle. Other people are born monogamists. For them, the line in the marriage ceremony about "forsaking all others" is more than words; it's what gives the committment substance. To cheat or be cheated on would mean a breach of contract both painful and irreparable. In itself, neither outlook is wrong. Fun, lasting relationships can grow from either one -- provided both partners fully understand the rules. It's when a natural swinger ends up with a born clinger that catastrophe is sure to follow.
I wholly agree with Booga...swingers are born, not made, LOL. My husband and I have been swinging for about 2 years now. Our likes? The thrill of the chase is one of the best parts, the excitement of having different partners...but mostly, it's how horny we are for each other after a "playdate". That's what keeps us coming back. Dislikes? Our main dislike, is that most of the people we've been with are satisfied way before we are, LOL... As far as the emotional issues between couples go, you must be completely non-jealous of each other. Your love must be very strong for each other. We love seeing each other pleasing and being pleased by other partners, and jealousy is non-existent between us. If you feel any apprehension or jealousy at all...don't do it. It's also very important to keep alcohol and other drugs manageable, as in...don't get wasted before swinging. If you have to get smashed, you're not ready. And, always always always play it safe, and use protection.
I recently started going to swing parties as a single woman and it's a lot of fun. I'm not sure I could have gone to one when I was younger and had a partner. I think I would have had a jealousy issue with it. But as I've gotten older my opinion of sex and monogomy has changed. Now I'm a much more open, freer person and don't worry that if I share my partner I will lose them to someone else. I think if both people have that attitude then it's enjoyable for everyone. What I like is that everyone is there for the same reason. You don't have to wonder if someone is interested or not. What I dislike is when you meet someone you really get along with and they refuse to use protection. What's up with that?
My wife and I engaged in 'swinging' with five different couples years ago. She, actually, started it with the husband of a couple she had the hots for and we found out that he and his wife were into experimenting. I absolutely loved it! I think that watching her with him that night is my all-time most erotic memory. But, the next day she really had problems talking about it and had a lot of regrets. I tried my best to assure her that I was very OK with it but she still felt terrible. Well, each time we explored this type of thing again she was obbviously having a great time during, but had much remorse afterwards. She decided, to my dismay, that 'we' would stop all such activities. Years later she caught me reading stories of this nature online and got really angry. I assured her it was just for mental masturbation and that I'd stop if she insisted. After a day or two of discussing it she actually suggested that I write some stories like them. (I'm a writer) I created a couple, very much like us, who were into swinging and we enjoyed the stories together. Well, through fan mail from the site we posted them on, we met several men and a few couples that we got to know through email exchanges. We even had some very steamy email and picture exchanges with one couple. That was really hot too! I was on cloud nine again! But, when we actually met that couple in person my wife went back into her shell. She, again, decided we weren't going there anymore. I was, and still am, devastated. Some people just can't handle taking things from fantasy to reality. Bella, I envy your husband. Is your mother anything like you?
