Poetry is nothing without someone to read it yet to not be heard is not to be without a mouth, a song, a painting or perhaps a bong? I believe there are other ways to express ones emotion and that to me is real poetry. For the greatest reason is that actions speak louder than that words could ever try to equal. To me that is my, philosophy.
a really like where this piece started and was a little disappointed in where it ended up. YOu have some clever lines and interjections like: "a song, a painting or perhaps a bong? " Ending on the actions speak louder than words cliche seems to be taking the easy way out. The beginning line: "Poetry is nothing without someone to read it" Borders on a cliche, in the sense that it's an often used theme, but you expand on it so well it comes across as a really nice introduction and idea. So, why take the easy way out at the end?
I really like that first line "poetry is nothing without someone to read it". It's the truth, and I agree that there are so many other mediums by which to express emotions and such.
