I tried resin

Shitty taste.

It was so harsh even when the stem was 6 inches underwater. But it did get me pretty high with the little amount of bud left.

 

Yeah hash is alot harsher on the throat than weed, but after awhile you get used to it.

 

Blaaahhhh to resin hits, that's what I say. That's all I've been smoking for the past week and a half because no tiene cash for my stash. The shit taste terrible, but you do get a nice dreamy buzz.

 

Its depressing when all you have to smoke is the black gold....and even more when you run out of it. I have one nug left so i'm gonna have to start scraping

I smoke my pipe whenever i have no weed, I dont mind the taste of it. This way me and a buddy did it once was put it on someting metal that can heat up, either hold a lighter under it or a torch, until the resin begins to kinda melt, then you stop and scrape it out and its almost like hash after. In solid form.

 

i like smoking resin, call me crazy but i think it taste just as good as regular old bud

I lived on resin this summer. It does have that gross smell and taste, but I'd say its worth it since getting high makes your senses so much enjoyable :-/

 

Im so pissed off. Ive waited for a great time to scrape my bong, which has a pretty long stem that has mostly been out of water. Anyway, I scraped it last night and i got next to nothing aaaahhh!! I havnt scraped for ages. Last time, id smoked less weed (from memory) but got tonnes of the stuff.


Really pissed me off.

Gonna have to go snag a little bit of my mums. I hate having to do this.

Actually the black stuff that you scrape out of a piece is about 50 percent tar and carcinogens. Its not "resin" persay, resin is the gooey thc laden product of the plants "resin glands." Resin Glands is what hash is derived from, before it is compressed or rolled. So your smoking thc that bonded to the tar and ash products, not resin. Real resin derived Hash is great tasting and flowery , always tastes good and never harsh to me. "Ask Ed" said that what you scrape is over 10 times more likely to damage your lungs than bud itself, because your smoking what you meant to eliminate int he first place. But i always scrape my pipes, and smoke it no matter how bad it is for you.

 

well, since the 'resin' buildup in a pipe or bong is actualyl the stuff youd normally be breathing in plain, it should make sense that its not -that0- much more harmful to you. The stuff you scrape out of your pipe is exactly the same as the stuff you breaht in normally. its got the same ration of thc to tar. The new effects occur when you light that up.

For me, it usually doesnt burn, it jsut heats up and vapourises wahtever is in the stuff. I would perhaps go so far as to say its more healthy than smoking plain weed, because a lot of teh chemicals will not combust twice. But i dont know waht new chemicals might be created when you heat up the already combusted material.

 

You could be right, I just remember one of those ask ed or ask jorge columns to say it wasnt good for you. But it tastes nasty to.
