It seems to me after looking through the threads, that they take a lot of different paths and go completly off the beaten path. Should I expect this in any thread I start and I guess this one will branch out in all directions too, right?

Well, It's ok, do what you may. There do seem to be some very intelligent people here and it should be fun and enlightening to get to know each other.

    One never knows... Do One?

You've left a lot of room to go all whichy ways with this thread, Rap. But, be welcome here on the Old Hippies Forum. It's a lot more tame than it used to be... but it's still fun.

These threads branch out the way our lives branch out. After a 2,000 mile journey and a month-long disappearance, I've resurfaced in the Lake Travis area of Austin, TX. What a long, strange trip it's been.....I plan to celebrate my 50th birthday later this month with a bang....

BTW I grew up in Birmingham, Michigan....
