Are These Magic Mushrooms? (Pic)

heres a pic i found them sorry for the crappy quality hope you can help

 

thier are many different species of majic mushrooms, and some look just like poisonous ones. If your not into mycolcogy and cant tell the diffrenece, dont try it. its better safe than soorry, as you could be risking death

you can not tell a mushroom species just from one external picture, the underside fans are verry important in mushroom identification. as are the smells, textures, colours, and what not.

one thing to remember in mushroomng is stay away from the LBM'S (little brown mushrooms) too many different spcies and thy're all simular looking. one poisonous mushroom in a pot of good ones can do a lot damage to person.

Where did you find them? Wood, Grass, or Shit?


I can't see the pic, but it's possible that you may find P. cuebensis in VA. They grow in NC.

 

Pinch the stem,wait 5 minutes, does it stain blue(prolly way less than 5 mins)

are the gills dark?

Does it have a purple vile(I belive its a purple vile)

if it has these characteristics, then you may have yourself some mushies.
