Today my dreads are all really frizzy and kinda messed up, would it be bad to use a little aloe vera gel in them this early? I'm going to get going on the rest of my head as soon as my mom gets back.
Little update. The ones in the back are getting REALLY loopy and are feeling more solid. (I think it's because I sleep on my back) The ones in the front, however, are not doing good at all. My friends were going swimming at a pool the day after I put them in, and I decided to go. Four hours later, almost all my front dreads had fallen out. I put them back in, but two days ago I went up to raging waters (Kinda boring now ) They didnt all come undone, just a few of them. I just put those back in right now, and took a shower (I like showering, and so far all it's done it make them tighter, so no harm there) They are looking pretty good now, and I'm going to try to avoid swimming unless in the ocean for a week maybe. Also, the dreads are really starting to get curly because of my curly hair. Kinda would rather them straight, but I guess curly is okay also. No pictures now, can't find my camera EDIT: Found it, but I'm not good at taking pictures by myself, so I couldn't really get any of the back.
theyre looking great, the front ones too. your hair is so perfectly suited to dreads, they will form on their own if you let them. i wouldnt bother re-forming dreads, just let them come undone and form themselves
