I too am intrested in this, I have heard of one in Hammonton,NJ off of www.jambase.com i think it was? There is a website of all kinds of festivals. Billisgod if you hear of anything let me know as well I'm looking as well.
I would rather go to a festival and see a few good bands than just go see someone like the Derek Trucks band at the Keswick or something. (though I would probably do that too) I just need another scene like the Folk Fest, Im not meeting the people I like in bars. haha.

You need to check out the web site for Hexbelt! Band is from york, pa and they play real small fests. I'm a big Donna the Buffalo fan and I'm really getting into Hexbelt. They've got outrageous musicians and all original songs. Remind me a lot of the Doors, but more uptempo stuff. Great vocals. The guys play singly or in pairs during the week in southcentral pa. Even those gigs are good, but they are in bars... the following at the fests is kind of a phish/deadhead group. and you can hear some great campfire jams ( i'm so old i usually miss those.)

    enjoy

Hexbelt is a good band. I remember them when they were called "Once Fish".
