I love south park so much. My greatest night this summer was when i watched the whole third season in a row, 11 PM to 5:30 AM. Also happened to be my first all nighter. FUN FUN.
south park is good because its not any ordinary show.. most shows nowadays are either sitcoms, dramas, or cheezy reality shows. its nice to hae a groovy show on plus i want to see team america this fall that looks allright
I watched the "passion of the Jew" DVD last night. Oh my god.... SOOOO funny. IMO, the best part of the entire DVD was the highest authority in Christianity: The Queen Spider. Fuck.. On bigger longer and uncut, when Conan O'brien (not actually his voice, but whatever) kills himself....I laugh siooooooo hard every time. Oh man. Best show (almost) ever. Crab people...crab people...taste like crab.
Oh fuck, I forgot about that episode. Also, some other good episodes, are: Jew scouts, when Moses rises from the fire and demands macaroni pictures, and paper plate bean shakers with glue on the sides so that you can put sparkles on them and make them all sparkly. The one where kyle and stan's dads masturbate in front of each other. The David blane episode. The Chinpokemon episode.(Oh god...the first toy they make..."You can't ride it, you can't ride it.) I can't think of any more right now, but basically they are all amazing.
Jjust out of curiosity what were the top 25 'most outrageous' episodes? My favourite episode is 'Scott Tenorman Must Die'...you know, that band, Radiohead?... Johnny Greenwood: Thom, will you stop reading fan mail? We have work to do. Thom Yorke: Just a second, fellas. Listen to this: Dear Radiohead, My name is Eric Cartman. I'm a young, supple eight-year-old boy from South Park, Colorado. I am writing to you because of a kid I know named Scott Tenorman. Scott is fifteen, and I'm afraid he has cancer. In his ass. Radiohead is his favorite band, and it would make his short life if you could find it in your hearts to visit him before he dies alone and scared. Won't you please consider it? I don't think he'll make it past... next Tuesday around 5. Phil Selway: Wow, we have to go. Ed O'Brian: To Colorado? But we have an album to mix. Thom Yorke: Didn't you hear the letter?? This poor kid has cancer! In his ass! I laughed, I cried, it changed my life.
I used to enjoy watching it, but havn't seen it for some time now, and I don't even know if its on in the UK anymore. I'd actually forgotten about it until last week when I was on a bus and it turned down a road called "South Park Avenue", which is not far from where I am staying at the moment. Someone did actually refer to it as "that road that sounds like a cartoon"
I agree, you can't take any of it personally. I didn't like South Park for about three series, but when I saw the film I kind of "got" them. The Jew scouts episode is my favourite, but satirically speaking, it's only really got good recently: Basically since "Jared Has Aides". It's great when shows properly take the piss out of themselves. And the Simpsons.
