Could DMT create change in a good way like LSD did in the late sixties? I havent done it yet but I was wondering if the effects had the possibility.

I highly doubt it. It's too intense for most people. LSD worked so well because lots of people took it on a regular basis. You can't exactly go on a DMT binge.

ya I doubt it because its too short and intense. people could dance in the streets with lucy, but your stuck on the couch with DMT. If anything will cause such an upheaval it will be shrooms (effects perfect if they were way easier to get) or rc's, like 2ce

thanks for the replies, I was just wondering because it is pretty easy to make (not in large doses exactly). I believe our country needs a wave of psychedelics back.

I think DMT can make a better society, for DMT's intensity amplifies one's guilt making it least likely commit any type of crime or or any harmful action. DMT can smash and cut your mind and soul with the immoral thoughts and actions one has commited making you feel like shit, and like I said, least likely to do something harmful to oneself and others. Also, that might corralate with amount of guilt one's capable of feeling (sociopath's less remorse..guilt?) Or, perhaps, DMT could be administered to prisoners as a punishment (to cure their mind?) for their crimes. Yea, but that'll just make DMT look a bit more notorious and it's administration for punishment a bit unethical and will loose its beauty. But, what do I know. Just a simple thought that probably will never be proven or looked upon.

    It did for the shaman!

You should watch the movie "renegade"... it's all about somebody curing himself on DMT. DMT is not for everybody, so I donno if it's good for society, but it can definitely help the individual.

Some of you have forgotten that DMT has something that most other psychedelics don't have (including LSD). Do you remember what it is? DMT has no notible tolerance! So you can do it on a daily basis and even all the time.......though as pointed out many people may not want to repeat the intense experience so quickly. But hey.....it doesn't mean that it can't be used normally by people. Many have wait at least 3 days for a good acid trip. Where as you can smoke DMT only a couple hours after your last trip.

BTW, how euphoric is a good smoke of DMT in your opinion?

well in a sence dmt is already making a better sociaty. Everyone has dmt released when they sleep and have dreams. Studys show if you don't have dream you break down become aggresive and eventually die........

That's actually only speculation......though I hope its true. DMT is produced in the body, but no scientific studies have proven that it is involved with dreams and NDEs and produced by the pineal gland. I however still have a good feeling that science will show this.
