^^^ more of a concept than a person, really.
christians tend to believe that god is the source of all happiness, love, and warmth. that sadness, hatred and coldness are the creation of being 'removed' from god.
i think they're being mety-phorical.

But i do agree that an eternity praising someone and playing the harp does sound kinda boring.
(Maybe the old saying is right and all the interesting people are in hell.)
