I need some advice on coming out to my roommates. I live in student assigned housing for a small college, so basically I stuck in a small apartment with 3 other random guys.
i'd say just hint to them and wait for them to guess. don't be like OMG YOU GUYS I'M GAY!!! or do anything like leave gay porn pictures around the room but, maybe try talking to a fake person on the phone and when you get off the phone, be like "bye, i love you' and when a roommate asks who you're talking to, be like "john" or something. that seems like something i would do when i'm ready to come out, but seeing as i have a boyfriend, that won't really work for me so much as someone else. if you're not ready though, then don't come out.
Well the this is I do that. I don't exactly come out and say I'm gay, but I don't hide it either. My screen saver is a slide show of my collection of art work, many of the pics are of gay couples or stereotypical gay characters. They know my friends are gay or bi-sexual and such. However somehow I have some built in stealth technology that prevents me from showing up on anyones gaydar, I mean other people that I have lived with say they would have never knew I was gay if they diden't read my MySpace. Hell the only person that ever called me out before I told them was my ex-girlfriend from my early years of high school XD. In any case, hints do not work
