reality is a construct of the mind.a vast number of different consciousness all combined into one plethora of experience. time doesnt exist . now is all we have.salvia has taught me alot ive smoked salvia over 30 times and still every time i do it i have a litlte fear before i light the bowl. is that normal?or just me anyways:) what do you guys think salvia will do to change the masses i know the us gov and world govs wanna stamp out any primitive religous and shamanistic ways from entering new society. if man of today knows of the spirit world he wont be so concerned with the material world of consumer goods and the like. he wont care if he has perfect teeth or wears teh right clothes or buys the right goods and does the right actions soceity tells him he must do.

It is an interesting drug that can show you how differently your brain can work. But beyond that, its all up to your philosophy.

Psyche23 Ive smoked Salvia many times and every experience was positive but I still get the same fear as you before I do it. I think this is because of the intensity of effects and how quickly it hits you. There is no gradual climb to a peak like LSD where you can process what is happening as it comes on and adjust to it. With Salvia you will peak within a minute or two after your first hit and I think that can be intimidating.
As far as helping our society, it certainly couldnt hurt. I agree with Longshot, its all up to the individual what will be taken from the experience and used in everyday life.

I always have had a bit of apprehension before partaking, but have never been sorry that I did it afterwards. The afterglow following the mind spasm and the body high are worth it to me, and it is even a bit theraputic - I fell mellow the next day. Healthy fear is a good thing but the more I practice the better I get at it. I don't think it is natural to like it because it is so freaky.
