I think that those who've smoked and never had any sort of spiritual experience while high are those who may not have any interest in things spiritual, or they are already 100% satisfied with their current knowledge level and belief system. I have from time to time had wonderfully mind expanding, enlightening highs, not every time, or even that often... setting has a lot to do with it too, for me. God bless herb. Love to you all.
oh so true. i was in the same boat a few years ago. u can move past this, it's pretty simple really. life is just one long spiritual experience, we as humans are xtremely spiritual beings able of walking through life right along side the gods and even the Great Spirit. setting of course does matter tremendously with the use of any substance. but it goes much farther than setting. u see the reason you want to be in good setting is so you are in a field of positive energy. as you learn the ways of the spirits and your own soul, you can move yourself into a completely pure state of life where you just live in 1 positive state of energy. THEN, the enlightenment really can shine your way and your soul can move completely to other levels & once youre there, you'll understand. peace love trees & lsd

I used to smoke pot until I cought it stealing my memory away. I just started forgetting things so much and stuff... Then I started hating being high, because you can't really control yourself fully, so I am sober now. And I like this a whole lot better. Drugs suck. Clear, healthy mind is the way!

I don't think its bad, and if I did, it wouldn't be because of no 'media hype'. There's erowid, which i'm sure nearly everyone on these forums have looked at, and I've looked at other, non govt funded websites. I do not think its bad, but I used to be hooked on pot myself and theres nothing wrong with smoking it, but when you believe that its god or you need it to escape, then you need some serious fucking help. I'm not against pot, but it does fuck up your life. I love ya Nathan and I dont wanna see you throw life away, which will inevitably happen if you keep depending your life on weed.

I used to be a dealer and got it for cheap, but I usually only bought eighths and that was for $15 to $20. No, but I'm guessing it's a lot. And then as soon as they are caught, they are fucked. Two examples off the top of my head are Ricky Williams and William Green, ex running backs in the NFL. Wow....it doesn't take motivation to smoke , it takes motivation to not smoke too much and to not smoke at all. Actually no it's not. I not only smoked it daily for nearly 6 years, but I had been studying every aspect of marijuana because I wanted to fight for its legalization. I now realize tho, that there is much much much more important stuff worth fighting for. Well that's good for you then. Like I said I have nothing against marijuana, if I wasn't strong willed enough to stay away from it I'd most likely be tokin' right now. If you can control your smoking, and smoke it like one would drink beer, then that's great. But very few people can control marijuana urges, and if you need it to escape from the real world, well then you are one of the people that shouldn't be smoking.

I wouldnt' let my life be limited or controlled in any way by pety laws man. I don't dig the sports scene 2much but I heard at some cat's house i was at that Ricky Williams said that he chose the lifestyle he lives (smoking pot) and if it he cant play football living that way, he'd rather not play. If he's content, he's happy. so dont say other people have fucked up their life. you can only say you've fucked you're life up about 1 person which is yourself of korse. im sure he realizes there is more to life besides football and his phat paycheck. Greene, i dunno, dont keep up with all that, but heard that about Ricky. i agree with u a load about not everyone should be smoking. same applies except even moreso to other psychs. but just dont leave out the many many people who dont live the same lives as everyone else and who only experience positive movement when they smoke the herb or use the psychs, whether it's all day or not. people live on different levels, maybe the same planet, but definetly different levels.
Hey Man, I feel ya. It opened me up to. I've come along way since I started smoking and truthfully I'm glad I did it. Sometimes you can never tell who your friends really are.
In summary: - If a person uses ANY drug (natural or not) to solve their problems and escape the reality of their lives then they are on a slippery slope to disaster. - A sign of whether someone smokes too much is when they consistently have trouble forming basic sentences, being unable to spell and are just generally not making sense (or "since", as I've noticed a lot of regular smokers are calling it - which, right there, rests my case LOL). - The "pro-regular-marijuana-usage" crowd have been quick to label those different to themselves as "narrow-minded". - The "anti-regular-marijuana-usage" crowd doesn't just consist of those who have never smoked, or who have never smoked regularly. I would like to know more about this "spiritual enlightenment" business from those who have experienced it. My stance on it right now is "gimme a break". What happened to make you feel like you had become spiritually enlightened.
I really don't care if you do or don't, I'm just letting you know what is most likely going to happen. I got busted in May, if I were to get busted now, being 17, I would be thrown in jail until my ticket's paid up. If you want to take that risk, then go right ahead, but shit gets real when you get caught, and especially for you, being 19. I think it's a little fucked up that he would choose weed over millions and millions of dollars, well then that's his problem. But any way you look at it, it's fucked up. I did not fuck up my life, but I'd be pretty fucked if I continued to smoke. I don't think he should've retired, but I think he should've been smarter than he was and not smoke in the first place. Not only do most teenagers not know what spiritual enlightenment means, there is a small percentage of people in the world who have actually reached spiritual enlightenment. And the biggest percentage of them, I'm guessing, would be monks from any kind of religion, and I don't think any of them tough any drugs at all. That's how much I got it for, my friend got it from some source, and we would sell it. If i wanted any to smoke, I got it for cheaper then what we sold it to other people, what I got it for were 'friend prices'. Haha, sorry to disappoint you but it actually didn't.
