Does anyone have any kind of reptile? If so what is it? I have a Sulcata. I used to have like one of everything, but that became to much. I still love snakes though. I got rid of my albino burm. after it's feeding response was to much. Yeah I got bit a few. So let me know.

I keep/breed lizards and keep some amphibians. I would really love to keep snakes and breed retics, bloods, and BCCs, but my mom won't let me keep them. Right now I have bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and western toads. I've kept a green iguana, BW tegu, buncha different amphibs (FBTs, ACFs, FBNs, GTFs), skinks, crested geckos, casque-headed iguanas, and some other lizards that I can't think of right now.

How are Sulcatas like to keep? I've never kept a tortoise before, had a resuce RES for a little while though... Very hard to keep clean.

Cool that there's anothe herper on these forums.

Finally someone who likes reptiles! You wanted to breed retics that's awesome. I just sold my tiger retic cause she was almost 15 feet. My Sulcata is awesome. I've had him since he was the size of a half dollar. He is about the size of a grapefruit now. He weighs about 8 pound, and eats like a horse. I clean the cage once a day. I have him in a 125 gallon terrarium. I soak him in the tub once a week for about 45 mins. Hows it like keeping your Beardeds. You actually breed some reptiles, very cool.

I used to have an iguana named Iggy. He was mean. He would smack me with his tail everytime I put my hand in the cage to feed him. He also bit me anytime I tried to handle him. I gave him away to someone in my neighborhood who I knew would give him a good home.

I have a 4-year-old (or at least that's how long I've had him) crocodile/moorish gecko named Nikko. He's really cool to look at, but I don't take him out of his cage unless I need to because he's very jumpy and fast (ie: He gets scared easily, then jumps off me and goes under furniture or climbs the wall to the cieling:p), but I love the lil guy:)
