I really don't know if my dad knows that I smoke or not. It all started about 5 months ago when I had a friend over to hang out. Against my better judgement I let him smoke a ciggarette in my room (dumb move). We started watching a movie and my dad knocks on my door. "I smell smoke, have you guys been smoking or something" he said in an angry voice. I said something like "No. I heard the neighbors outside and smelled smoke coming through my window". Not the most smooth reply. He then said something like "Ok... what are you guys watching?" After I told him gnight he left the room. The next day or the day after he bought me incense. Now, some of you may think that this would be a dead giveaway but I'm not so sure. Why wouldn't he just tell me who knows that I smoke? He's usually pretty straight forward. Also, he never comes and knocks on my door after I say i'm going to sleep (which seems unusual for a parent to give his kid privacy). Now, this final piece of info is what really makes me wonder. Yesterday I finished a small bag of weed I had. I dumped the remainder of it out on my amp to sort out the seeds and stems for the weed. I then smoked what I could and watched a movie. After the movie I put everything away in the proper place except for the seeds and stems that I happened to forget about hiding. He woke me up around 1pm and said something. Then he looked at my incense holder which just happened to be sitting right by the seeds and stems and said "they should really makes these things wider so it catches more of the ash." I nodded in agreement and got up as he left my room. I dumped out the incense ash and then realized I never put the weed leftovers in an adequate hiding place. I want your opinions on the matter.
unless he saw the stems he might just think u smoke cigs so u cant be sure or he just got them to make ur room smell better but it is hard to say
He probably knows, parents aren't as naive as we sometimes think =) they were kids once as well, and even if they didn't smoke weed a lot/ever, odds are they at least had friends that did. They know what's up most of the time
Yea corey, I think your dad knows that you do it, but he may want solid proof, or maybe for you to tell him yourself. He had to know from the time we smoked up your room.
Oh yeah, he knows. I would just let him lead the conversation whenever it leads toward that subject. Chances are 'he' probably smoked in his day...if hes not worring too much about-you shouldn't either*: )
It looks like he knows,i mean the stems... but from the moment that he doesnt say shit to you, how bad could it be??
