Alright, alright, Roadhouse blues is better, are you satisfied now?! The Doors and "LA woman" remind me of a period about 2-3 years ago when I joined my first band and thought I had the best friends in the world while those "best friends" where actually using me...What a wonderful, ignorant period of my life........
la woman man whatta tune as for better is their such a word or should their be such a word man every tune has a vibe
When the Music is Over used to be my favorite. Get stoned and crank up the volume on the ear phones right at the part where Morrison lets out that primal scream. I think I would like LA Woman better now. First time I ever "read" the lyrics. good even without the music. great quote from E.E Cummings. Never thought he was that good.
how about riders on the storm....ooo..yeah, when the music is over is a good one, i haven't listened to that in ages, it wa smy favorite song back in the eighth grade. haha.
yeah, if we're talking about the same clip (the one with the girl that gets murdered) i think it was like made by Ray Manzarek or something. lol or maybe you're talking about something completely different. peace love Jane
what about love me two times, or the end, or crystal ship, or oh spanish caravan, orlover her madly, or this one is good.. the unknown soldier
^ nah floyd is better. but thats my opinion. but the doors are still really great. wouldnt trade my doors cd's for the world
Yeah, Floyd's cool. Been listening to "Young Lust" on repeat the last few days. My favorite Floyd song for sure.
uhh. its hard for me to choose a fave floyd song. but i would have to go with either comfortably numb or wish you were here. or brain damage
"Young Lust" is one of the worst, if not the worst Pink Floyd songs in existence. It's also completely out of place on "The Wall", even though it does play an idiotic part in the most useless scene in the movie.
ewwwwwwwwww. no no no no no no no!!!!!!!! i heard it and it sucked. the doors are the only ones who can pull it off. duh cause' its their song.
You suck. Steven Tyler's version sounds more passionate, Jim sounds like he's either too bored or too stoned to sing this song......
hahah i think both are good. probably the doors better tho, since it's the original. i usually like original versions better, except Marilyn Manson's version of Sweet Dreams. I think that's better than the original. Oh and Red Hot Chili Pepper's version of Higher Ground. I think that song's awsome better than the Stevie Wonder one. Did Lenny Kravitz (however you spell his name =P) do a version of LA Woman too? hmm iv never heard it :S peace and love Jane ps PINK FLOYD ARE A GREAT BAND!!!! they're second on my favourites list (after the doors) =]
Lenny Kravitz hasn't covered the song. Billy Idol has. Some lame-ass four-minute version. He just yelps and screams the whole song and some very good parts are left out. Bastard.
the only reason he sounded bored is because he was drunk or stoned, thats the only way he could play a show or sing, being drink or stoned.
