Doggie Seeds (Bubblegum)

hi i bought 10 feminized dogs nuts bubblegum seeds and out of the 10 only 4 have grown i put them in wet tissue for 24 hours then planted them into soil desgined for seeds but the others didnt grow any ideas on what i did wrong or could have done.. (i was told to do it in cotton wool????)

 

Afew things could have happened.

The temperature could have been too low. You can buy heating mats for germing seeds, but I usually just put the baggie with the towel and beans in it on my cable box, and that temp is perfect.

The seeds cold be too thick, some seeds have an extra thick shell, and need either extra time to germ or need to be scuffed lightly with some sandpaper to get them started.

Or they could just be bunk seeds.

By the way, I usually don't place them in the soil until they've cracked open and the tiny little taproots are peeking out. The longest this has taken to happen was 2-3 days, but some older seeds will take longer.
